Responsibilities

Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, dusting furniture, cleaning windows, and sanitizing restrooms to maintain hygiene standards

 

Trash and Recycling Management: Emptying trash bins, washing containers, and attending to recycling procedures

 

Minor Maintenance: Replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, repairing broken doors or furniture, and performing basic upkeep of building systems

 

Groundskeeping: Mowing lawns, trimming trees and flowers, raking leaves, and keeping sidewalks clean 

 

Safety and Security: Inspecting fire alarms, smoke detectors, and HVAC systems, securing doors, and sometimes opening or closing buildings

 

Event Support: Assisting with setting up facilities for meetings, classes, or events

 

Skills and Qualifications

• Physical stamina and strength to handle long hours of standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail and diligence to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance 
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and equipment operation 
• Organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently and respond to emergencies
